Q: Are you licensed and Insured?
      Yes, Julie maids is licensed, bonded and insured.
       Bonding insurance- Covers theft in cases with a conviction in court of law.
       General liability, on the other hand, covers any damage to your home or possessions.

Q: Are your employees background checked?
      Yes they are.we take up references for all our self-employed cleaners and those references have to be             excellent before we would allow them on to our staff.

Q: Is there a contract to sign?
      No. We are so confident on our services that you will not be bound by any contracts.

Q: Do You bring all the necessary supplies?
      We take all our cleaning products, but we use our clients own vacuum cleaner and mop because it is               more sanitary in the cleaning environment that leaves no way for their to be a transfer of dirt of even           bacteria from location to location. (Please let me know if your vacuum is not functioning properly or             you you do not have a mop, and we will use our own.)

Q: Is Your Service Pet Friendly?
     Absolutely, Our Service is 100% pet friendly, please let our cleaners know the indoor or outdoor                 preference. We also ask that you please introduce your pet to our cleaner for familiarity between the             pet and cleaner.

Q: What do I need to do before Julie Maids arrives?
      We ask that you do a general tidy up, such as pick up toys, organize desks, put dishes in the 
      dishwasher ...   but don't clean, that's what we're coming for.

Q: Do you change bed sheets, or do laundry or ironing?
     If you leave fresh sheets on the bed we will change them. Laundry and ironing can be done and must be      discussed ahead of time with our office staff.

Q: What about holidays or changing a scheduled cleaning visit?
      We understand that schedule may change and that flexibility is required.
      If you need to change a scheduled cleaning visit we appreciate a 24 hour notice.A $30 cancellation               charge will apply if notice is not received before this deadline.If we arrive at the cleaning and there                is no Key arranged for us or we cannot gain access to the home for however reason 50% of rate will be       charged.

Q:  What if something is damaged during the cleaning?
      We treat your home with complete care and respect.However, should damage or breakage occur while         we are cleaning, Julie Maids will make every effort to repair or if necessary, replace the item.When               appropriate, insurance claims will be filed.

Q: How do I pay for the service?
      Most customers find it convenient to simply leave a check or check in the kitchen counter or table made       payable to Julie Maids Cleaning services. Payment is made on the day of each cleaning visit.

Q: Is HST charged?
      Yes, 13% HST will be added to your invoice, applicable for all of our services.

Q: Is it necessary to tip my cleaning crew?
     No. However, if you feel our cleaning staff has gone above and beyond your expectations, you may tip          them if you please.
